Dual column tensile testing machine is designed for high tensile forces and works well over a range of 0.5 KN to 10 KN.  This tester is specifically designed to handle materials with tensile strengths above 5 KN.

A dual column can measure the tensile strength of textile, plastic, rubber, leather, paper, and packaging materials. It can withstand the higher loads safely during testing due to its dual column frame structure.

Darong’s double column tester YG(B)026HC complies with international standards ASTM D4964, ASTM D5587, ASTM D5035, ISO13934.1/2, and JIS L1096.

You can set the test parameters, such as grip distance, test speed, force unit, maximum load, number of cycles, specimen circumference, and customer-specified elongation percentage, manually according to standard or customer requirements.

Before starting the tensile test, measure the initial gauge length, from the top of the upper pin to the bottom of the lower pin. Add the initial gauge length in the system’s software, and the instrument will automatically adjust the required gauge length.

For testing on the dual column tensile tester, we use the specimen with a size of 75 × 350 mm, with five warp and five weft samples. The specimen is sewn in a circle with a 10-inch circumference. The seam is positioned in the center of the specimen.
