【Scope of application】

DR 3000 Xenon Arc Test Chamber is versatile testing equipment used to test color materials’ climate effects, including sunlight, humidity, rain, etc. Sunlight contains UV radiation, which affects color intensity and hue, making them pale and dull. It also fades color if exposed for a long time. Moreover, humid weather also affects deep colors and changes them with the passage of time.
DR 3000 replicates light energy, temperature, and humidity in a controlled environment to stimulate these natural conditions. It contains a light source with light and heat filters for an adjustable spectrum. It also includes sensors for monitoring temperature and humidity.
This tester is used widely for testing materials in textile, paint, rubber, petrochemical, automobile, and relevant industries where products need evaluation against fading, aging, color fastness, permeability, hardening test, etc.
Key Features
Light Source: It contains a 3.5KW Xenon Arc lamp, which is a realistic approach for testing color fastness to light. Users can also adjust the monitoring band wavelength for controlled exposure.
Temperature and Humidity Control: It contains both BST and BPT thermal sensors. BPT ranges from 50~130 ⁰C, whereas BST can measure 45~125 ⁰C with a resolution of 0.1⁰C. It also has a unique gas humidification and dehumidification system to ensure accurate and stable humidity. Humidity can be set from 10~95 %RH ±5%.
Cooling System: It has a specialized water cooling system that greatly reduces water and power consumption and efficiently cools the test chamber.
Exposure Area: It has a large experimental bin design with a maximum exposure area of 2500 cm2.
Sample Capacity: This Xenon arc Chamber can hold up to 35 samples depending on the size. All sample clips can be timed separately for convenient testing and monitoring.
Built-in Printer (Optional): It also supports a thermal printer for instant physical reports.
Vast Compatibility: This Xenon test chamber complies with all related test standards, including ISO, GB/T, TM, and AATCC. Users can easily select a standard from the database.
Easy to Use: This Xenon tester is equipped with a 10.4-inch programable, color touch-screen for display. Users can use different test monitoring modes, including figures, graphs, and curves, for easy understanding without stopping the test.
