The tester is a specialized sun defence monitoring system designed to measure a fabric’s ultraviolet (UV) transmittance, including UVA and UVB rays. It also accurately assesses the fabric´s Ultraviolet Protection Factor (UPF), which indicates how much UV radiation can pass through it.

A higher UPF means better UV protection of fabrics, which can be helpful in outdoor gear and sun-protected clothing.

Key Features

Solar shield assessment: This UV filtration analyzer has a deuterium lamp that emits a stable and consistent UV spectrum for UPF evaluation. A built-in sphere spectrophotometer is also available to measure the absorption, reflection, and transmission of rays with high precision.

Wavelength tester: This UV Tester measures the wavelengths of light emitted from the lamp. It ensures the precise measurement of the UPF of the fabric and how much harmful rays are blocked, transmitted, and absorbed by the textile
