The YG (B) 981D fiber oil extract is an apparatus that successfully obtains oil from synthetic gears and measures the oil content rate of fibers. This apparatus works on the principle of solvent percolation and evaporation. It is suitable for yarn, fiber, and fabric and can simultaneously be used for 1,2, or 3 extraction units.
The process starts by cutting the fabric into small pieces and putting the sample into the metal tubes. Then, add a specific amount of solvent to dissolve oil and fats. Put on weights to speed up the process. The solvent and the oil from the sample start to drip onto the hot plate. The solvent will evaporate, leaving behind the oil. Then, after calculations, the oil content in the sample can be determined.
