Scope of Application

Using a microwave test dummy in an electromagnetic semi-anechoic chamber, electromagnetic waves of different frequencies are emitted by an electromagnetic radiation source (including a signal amplifier and a directional transmission antenna). The receiving sensors in the dummy’s head, chest, and abdomen areas separately sense the attenuation of electromagnetic wave intensity after the dummy is dressed. This system uses realistic simulation for a comprehensive overall test of protective clothing’s microwave shielding capabilities.
