This Fabric Flame Retardant Tester is an intelligent instrument for determining textiles’ heat-resistant characteristics. The specimen plate is held vertically in the instrument centre.

The flame of 40 mm height came in contact with the fabric specimen for 12 seconds. After the set time, it automatically extinguishes and lets the fabric burn. The burning behaviour of the fabric specimen is monitored.

This tester works as a vertical flame retardant tester, following the guidelines of ISO 1210 and ASTM D6413. It measures the fabric specimen’s burning time, smouldering time, and carbonization tendency.

90 90-degree flame Retardant test: This textile fire resistance analyzer is designed for the vertical flame retardant test. This apparatus applies flame to the specimen at a 90-degree angle.

Controllable Gas & Flame Height: The tester has knobs to control the gas flow and flame height precisely, which helps the technician to have a good command during the test.

Fire Extinguish System: This textile flame retardant tester has a fire extinguisher system built into the apparatus. By pressing a single button, the extinguisher system stops the fire.

Glass Window: The cloth flame resistance tester has a window that helps the operator monitor the fabric’s ignition and burning behaviour. This clear visualization reduces the chance of faulty results.
