The YG(B)815CV Fabric Flame Retardant Performance Tester is a precisely engineered instrument designed to measure the flame retardant capacity of the sample fabric in controlled conditions. The instrument has cutting-edge safety features and simulates real-world flame exposure scenarios to examine the time and duration of the burning sample. The fabric is placed at a specified angle in the testing chamber. For a specific time, a standardized flame is applied, and the sensors measure the time duration and damage length, providing the precise evaluation of the fabric´s flame retardant capability.
Key Features
Ignition methods: By default settings, bottom ignition and surface ignition are two combustion positions that are installed in the tester. Bottom ignition is for the real-world fire scenarios where flame rise from below. Surface ignition is a new type of ignition for assessing the direct exposure of heat such as in upholstery.
Multiple advanced motors: This flame tester is powered by three advanced, highly precise stepping motors, i.e., for aligning the flame, height, and tilting the flame at a specific angle for burning.
Timing system: The ignition duration can fall anywhere between 0 and 999.9 seconds with precise control up to 0.1 sec. The burning rate ranges from 0 to 6553.5 seconds with an accuracy of 0.1 seconds. And the rate of flame speed across the fabric is 0 to 9999mm/min with a resolution of 1mm/min.
Type of fuel source: This fabric flame tester uses industrial-grade propane or butane gas as a source of ignition. Their burning property maintains the integrity of testing environment and gives the more accurate results.
