ISO 2062 Chemical Fiber Filament Strength Tester YG(B)021HL

【Scope of Application】

This tester is used to test the breaking strength and elongation at the break of synthetic fiber monofilaments, spandex, nylon, polyester filaments, twisted composite yarns, and textured yarns.

【Relevant standards】

  • GB/T 14344

  • GB/T 3916

  • ISO 2062

  • ASTM D2256

  • DIN BS

etc.

YG(B) 021HL is used to evaluate the breaking strength and elongation of synthetic fibers. These fibers can be monofilament, spandex, polyamide, polyester filament, composite or deformed filament. They can be tested in dry and wet states. YG (B) 021HL is suitable for testing the tensile physical performance properties of these fibers.

This tensile filament tester works based on the CRE (Constant Rate of Extension) principle. In this test, one clamp is stationary and the other moves at a constant speed, causing the sample to elongate until it breaks. The maximum force is recorded as breaking strength.

This test helps in fiber characterization, fiber selection and its behavior. This testing is also crucial in ensuring product safety, quality and reliability.

Key Features

Accuracy: This filament tensile tester can test with an accuracy of less than 0.2% F.S. at its maximum load test range.

Test Parameters: It can save up to 6 groups of different parameters for time-efficient and repeated test results. Users can search for their test results from stored memory.

Data Output: This filament fiber tester has a microcomputer control, LCD display, and printing output.

Test Speed: Users can adjust the testing speed between 10 and 1000 mm/min. Pneumatic clamping is provided for firm gripping, and the clamping distance can also be adjusted between 50 and 500 mm.

Compliance: This tensile strength tester complies with different industry standards, including ISO, GB/T, ASTM, DIN etc., for reliable and comparable test results.
