How to Test Ultraviolet Transmittance Performance Through Fabrics
In this article, we will demonstrate a lab procedure to test Ultraviolet Transmittance Performance through fabrics using DaRong’s Ultraviolet Transmittance Tester YG(B)912S
This testing standard GB/T 18830.
Turn on the power switch. Open software. File, new file. Click no. Put the file name. Twist preload standard number. Sample name. Select an even-textured material. Color. Twist color. And confirm. Sample number. Sample time. Temperature and humidity. Operator. Press save.
Cut samples according to the standard. The sample size meets the size of the gripper. Link. Test. According to the software prompt.
Do no cover test first. Press start. Press start. Finished no cover test.
Take out the sample plate. Place the sample face up on the test bench. Put the weight, push back, and click start again. When testing is finished, change the sample and press testing. We can test the weight of the sample. We can skip no-cover pre-testing. Click start. Finish testing.
The remaining samples were tested using the same method. All tests finished. Click graphic. Export report. Export report.
This test follows GB/T 18830.
