How to Conduct Fabric Thermal Insulation Test

In this article, we will demonstrate a lab procedure to conduct Fabric Thermal Insulation Test by using DaRong’s YG(B)606EC.

Below we will demonstrate the YG(B)606EC Fabric Thermal Insulation Tester
This test follows standard GB/T 11048.
First, take three samples.
Each specimen should be 500 X 500 millimeters.
Turn on the power switch.
Click “Parameter Settings”.
Set the test parameters according to the standard and customer requirements:
test temperature, preheating time, and test duration.
Once set, go to the “Test” interface and click “New”.
Confirm, then click “Blank Test” to begin preheating.
After preheating is complete,
Click “Return”, and place the specimen flat on the test platform.
Click “Sample Test” to start the test.
After the first test is complete,
Click “Return”, and repeat the same steps for the remaining specimens.
Once all tests are finished,
Click “Data Retrieval” and then “Print”.
