Demonstration of Fabric Hydraulic Bursting Strength Test
In this article, we will demonstrate a lab procedure to test the Bursting Strength of Fabric by using DaRong’s Hydraulic Bursting Strength Tester YG(B)032Q
This test is conducted in accordance with GB/T 7742.2, ISO 13938 2
Install the diaphragm and select the 50 cm² test area.
Turn on the burst test machine power switch.
Select the test method according to the standard and customer requirements.
Choose “time to burst” mode and set the test parameters: number of specimens, pressure increase rate, initial pressure, and pressure increment.
Once the settings are completed, click save.
Enter the test interface.
Click the plus sign to create a new test group.
Mount the specimen by placing it smoothly on the test platform.
Click “down.”
Click “pre-test.” The instrument will automatically adjust the bursting time based on the pre-test.
After the pre-test is complete, click “up” to change the test position.
Click “down,” then click “start” to begin the formal test.
Test the remaining specimens in the same manner.
After five tests are completed, remove the sample.
Click “down.”
Click “diaphragm test.”
Once the diaphragm test is completed, click “retrieve/print,” review the detailed data, then click “print” to print the detailed results.
